Progressive Electronic Dictionary

e-Kamus is a progressive electronic dictionary that is developed progressively by encouraging the involvement of each users as a source of input. Briefly, eExam e-kamus functions as follows:

1. Users can use the search tools to search for the meanings of words or phrases. This includes ‘simpulan bahasa’, ‘pepatah’ and modern terminology.
2. If the word or phrase searched is in our database, the meaning, definition or explanation will be provided. Some of these meaning, definitions and explanations may not be complete. Users can then propose or provide additional explanations if they like. Our panel of teachers will then evaluate the proposal and if suitable, the proposal will be adopted and published in the e-kamus together with the name of the proposer.
3. If the word or phrase searched is not found in our database, that word or phrase will be recorded in our database for review. We will then regularly review these words or phrases and update the e-kamus with their meanings or explanations.

Search Selection is an easy way to search word or phrase without typing the word in the search box. All you have to do is highlight a word or phrase by double-clicking at a word or by dragging your mouse over a phrase and then click the Search Selection button.
