eExam is a joint project between Telekom Smart School Sdn Bhd and 5 thW Ilmuworld Sdn Bhd.

Telekom Smart School (TSS) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Telekom Malaysia Berhad, or TM. TM is Malaysia 's Number One provider of information communication technologies. TSS is primarily involved in providing the necessary technical infrastructure as well as content development for the government's Smart Schools.

5 thW Ilmuworld Sdn Bhd (5WI) is a Malaysian company. Its core business is in the development of web-based, e-learning infrastructure and content. 5WI was awarded MSC Status in 2005 and was a Merit Award winner in the 2005 APICTA Awards (Education & Training category). It is headquartered in Pusat Bandar Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.
